Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the TileFlow app (Android & iOS), developed by Malek Katerji.

1. Overview

TileFlow is a free color tile puzzle game. The app is supported by advertising. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

2. Data We Collect

The TileFlow app itself does not collect or store any personal information on our servers. All game progress (scores, XP, streaks, themes, achievements) is stored locally on your device only.

However, the app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements and Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used. These services may collect the following data automatically:

Device identifiers (Advertising ID / IDFA, Firebase installation ID)
IP address and approximate location
Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
Device information (model, OS version, language)
App usage events (screen views, session duration)

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policy.

3. How Data Is Used

Data collected by AdMob and Firebase Analytics is used solely to:

Display relevant advertisements within the app
Measure ad performance and prevent fraud
Understand how users interact with the app in order to improve the experience

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for any purpose beyond what is described above.

4. Third-Party Services

The app integrates with the following third-party services:

Google AdMob — advertising platform. See Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses data from apps.
Firebase Analytics — app analytics platform by Google. Collects anonymised usage events to help improve the app. See Firebase Privacy & Security.

5. Advertising & Consent (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we will ask for your consent before showing personalised ads. This is handled through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), which presents a consent dialog on first launch.

If you consent: personalised ads are shown using your Advertising ID.
If you decline: non-personalised ads are shown instead. Your Advertising ID is not used for targeting.

You may change your consent at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings.

      Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data held about you. Since TileFlow does not store personal data on our servers, any such request should be directed to Google for data held by AdMob.
    

6. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS 14.5 and later, we request permission to track you using Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. If you deny this permission, the app will continue to function normally and non-personalised ads will be shown.

7. Children's Privacy

TileFlow is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Data Retention & Security

All game progress is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. You can delete all local data at any time by uninstalling the app.

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to opt out of the sale of personal information, and to request deletion. We do not sell personal information. For data collected by Google AdMob, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
